For all tattoos:
Avoid swimming or submerging your modification in the first 3 months.
Avoid prolonged sun exposure to the area.
Derm-Shield A.K.A. Second skin. Protects the open skin of your tattoo from infection, keep on first 2-4 days.
YES- Shower and sleep with this covering on.
NO- Submerging or swimming in water.
Removal of derm-shield: Wash and slowly peel under lukewarm running water with antibacterial, unscented soap. Once the second skin is off- pat tattoo dry with a clean paper towel then apply a small amount of unscented water based moisturizer.
Cleaning: Continue to clean the tattoo at least twice a day for two weeks. Followed by a pea sized amount of the unscented moisturizer. Always moisturize the area if dryness occurs.
After two weeks your skin will be healed over and fully protected from infection. Ink will be fully settled into skin after a few months.
Saran Wrap: The commonly used aftercare method is saran/plastic wrap. Keep this on your tattoo for 1-3 hours after tattoing. (Unless your artist might instruct you to leave the wrap on overnight)
At Home: For 3 nights, cover the area in new plastic wrap before bed and remove it in the morning. Followed by cleaning instructions as seen above.

CRUCIAL. DO NOT TOUCH OR TWIST YOUR PIERCINGS.
Morning and Night: Using sterile saline spray, clean your piercing at both entry and exit points (Minimum 3 seconds)
Remove all dried excretions off the jewelry and around the piercing. You may also use a q-tip gently if any large bits are stuck after spraying. BE AWARE It is possible for cotton to get stuck on a sharp bit of dried fluid which can lead to infection.
Discussion with piercer: On when to downsize jewelry, and for specifics on healing time- depending on piercing.
Avoid: Sleeping on your fresh piercing, submerging it in water, twisting the jewelry, and using any alcohols or soaps on the open channel.

Red Flags: Redness, constant soreness or pain, yellow or green puss, or a burning sensation. Please listen to your body.
Healing Infection: Contact your artist and discuss your aftercare process. New direction will be reccomended. It may be a change in product you use, or an extra step in your cleaning process.

Tattoo Cost: Will vary by the size, placement, and design you are looking to get. Our artists are able to adjust designs if you have a set budget in mind- something that works for both of you!
Required (After free Consultation): $100 deposit to save your appointment in the calendar. This deposit is carried over to the final cost of your piece.
Piercing Cost: Individual prices per location of piercing. Full list found in the piercing tab- located on top of home page.
Our Endangered Story
The original shop Endangered Styles began in 1998 at the Arcade Mall in Bridgeport, CT. The founders E.S. and Daz (rip), worked on cultivating and creating a space for artists to grow.
Where we are now, Endangered Studio began in 2022. The city of Monroe grasciously welcomed us with open arms. Here at our shop we believe in creating a safe, clean and comfortable space for everyone who walks through the doors. We hold ourselves to a high standard while maintaining a traditional approach to the art lifestyle. Our team is devoted to providing the best customer service and quality art.
